Field Dug Bamboo
 Field dug bamboos are custom dug specimens. They are sold in a range
of sizes and priced by the number of canes per root ball.
Fiber Grow Bags
The bamboos in the 8-25’ height range are sold in fiber grow bags.
Field dug bamboos are put in grow bags with soil around the root
ball. A fibrous root system develops in the grow bag and the bamboo
is not prone to foliage desiccation. Do not remove the soil bag when
planting– the roots will penetrate through it after the first year.
These plants may be available in fiber grow bags.

Interior Bamboo
Interior bamboo is shade acclimated to specifications. A foot candle
study is crucial to assure planting success. Site visits are
provided when needed by New England Bamboo Company. Prices are
